"Scrapped To Travel"

After being inspired by the Travel Journal I made for Isabelle, I decided I would scrap our California trip as we went along.   I purchased a recycled sketchbook from Barnes and Noble.  I love the fact that the paper inside is brown kraft, but it is very lightweight.  The sketchbook came with 60 pages inside.  There is no way i would fill that much, so to make the paper thicker and less pages i glued( or should i say glue runner, im just loving AC's new this to that adhesive line) two pages to each other, making a total of 30 pages.  And to fill my urge to want to scrap in it, I decorated the cover and title page.  Now can this trip start so i can finish it.   I also put together a little travel pack of goodies: this to that adhesive, glue stick, embellishments, blank tags, Remarks letters, rub-ons, etc... so i can scrap as i go.  I still need to pick up a pair of baby fingernail scissors (you can only bring on blunt type on the plane) and a small plastic ruler.  All i will have to do when i return home is print pictures  and adhere them in the book.  Trip scrapping is complete.

Supplies: Martha Stewart Travel paper pack, AC remarks JFK neutral, The girls' paperie travel paper cuts.

Updated (8/2/10):  Well I only managed to get one page done (on the plane ride there) while on the trip.  So I will be spending the next week printing pics and finishing the journal as an album.

Updated (8/4/10): This is as far as I have gotten, so many pics....Hope to finish the rest over the weekend, scrapping plans on saturday.
